Samuel Dordowa Benya Senesie serves as Regional Coordinator, Sub-Saharan Africa with Rapid Urbanism. Samuel holds a postgraduate M.Sc in Urban Management from TU Berlin, where he focused on sustainable low-income housing, planning, design and finance, as well as a Bachelor in Civil Engineer with honors from the University of Sierra Leone. He has over 10 years of post graduate work experience within both the private and public sector, including 2 years with UNHCR in Ethiopia. Earlier, he worked with city and district councils in Sierra Leone as the head of the Civil Works Department with the responsibility of planning, design, implementation and management of civil works projects for five years.
